Rename to RAR and extract.
I'm already working on the tool that will support ISOs directly and will recognize them regardless their name. However for those who are not willing to wait....
Notice that SFIII 2nd Impact is not supported yet.
Let me know how it works for you.
Amazing Work! Thanks! The only working cart i have left is 2nd impact, so sadly i will have to wait but i still appreciate all your hard work.
ReplyDeleteYour work is so much appreciated, thank you for releasing the tool. I will test it on my Warzard as soon as I find some time. Looking forward to bright future of cps3! Hey, where's the donation-button??
ReplyDeleteThank you for developing this tool and all the hard work that has gone into it!
ReplyDeleteI used MagicISO to "Drag & Drop" the converted files into the ISO, it's much quicker than using cut and paste in a hex editor.
I was under the impression that the cart would determine what version of the game runs. I converted Red Earth/Warzard to run on my US JoJo's Venture cart and it is booting to the JP Warzard version. It's really not an issue, I was just curious if you know why or how to get it to load the EU version so I can play in English.
I really love getting to play the other CPS3 games without emulation.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the tip on the MagicISO.
ReplyDeleteNormally the cartridge determines the country code of the game, however Warzard is Japanese only. Red Earth can be European, American or Mexican version. Use an American or European ISO and you should be fine.
Just finished my setup : SFIII.3 running with my Jojo cartridge.
ReplyDeleteIt just works perfectly, and it's not that complicated if you follow the readme.
I can't thank you enough for this tool.
If that helps, here's the CD setup I used:
CD 1 :
___SIMM1___SIMM2__SIMM3______SIMM4_______SIMM5
___64Mb____64Mb__128Mb______128Mb_______32Mb
___3s(10)__3s(20)__3s(50/51)____3s(60/61)___jojo(50)
Then I remove SIMM3 and SIMM4 and replace them with two others 128mb SIMMs
CD2:
___SIMM1___SIMM2__SIMM3______SIMM4_______SIMM5
___64Mb____64Mb__128Mb______128Mb_______32Mb
___3s(10)__3s(20)__3s(30/31)____3s(40/41)___jojo(50)
Then remove the 32Mb SIMM and put back everything in place.
Now where's that Paypal button ? :D
Alex brings up a great point, where is the donate button. Id be happy to help out, and im hoping that a little cash incentive will speed up 2nd impact cart support ;)
ReplyDeleteI finally inserted the donate button. It will certainly motivate me to move further on this. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCome on folks and donate a liitle something for this cool stuff! After all it's christmas and y'all spending the holidays playing cps3 on the REAL thing, right?
