As you can see from the video below, it works pretty well. There seems to be some issues with synchronization as it outputs a timeout error, but wen tried again, it finds the CD.

I've never seen a SCSI to IDE adapter, that must have been difficult to find. I wonder if my SCSI to IDE to CF adapter for Naomi would work in this case, the pinouts are the same I would imagine.
ReplyDeletefancypants you do not have a scsi to ide to cf adapter. you have a ide/cf adpater with a scsi connector. the conector doesnt change the true nature that it's a ata/ide signal.
ReplyDeleteIf we used one of these adapters with a IDE to CF adapter would it eliminate the need for the drive altogether?
